This latest release contains numerous updates and enhancements that reflect our commitment to listening to customer feedback and continuously improving the platform! We're particularly excited about rolling out several new enhancements to customers using our Elastic Path Commerce Cloud (EPCC) integration.

Cart Promotions

After numerous customer requests, we are now extending our existing Discount and Promotions functionality, to add the ability to apply Promotion codes directly on the first page of Checkout (on platforms where this is applicable). This gives agents greater flexibility as they progress through the Cart/Checkout flow to see the full cart costs earlier in the process.

Agents can now apply promotions prior to entering billing, shipping and/or payment information. This feature is initially available for EPCC users on our Enterprise tier and is planned to extend to other platforms including Shopify in an upcoming release.

Zero Dollar Orders

Building on the ability to apply Promotion Codes and Modify/Override Line-Item Prices, we are launching an Early Access Program (EAP) to allow Orders that contain a zero dollar total value to bypass the Payment screen completely. This streamlines the Checkout process for helping agents with replacement orders, fully discounted orders and more.

This feature is initially available for customers using Elastic Path Composable Commerce - and should soon be available for BigCommerce and Adobe Commerce/Magento2 in an upcoming release.

Cancel & Refund

Expanding on our existing support for issuing both simple and complex refunds, we have extended some of our more complex functionality to Elastic Path.

We are thrilled to now be introducing our one-click Cancel & Refund feature to retailers running EPCC, making the refund experience for Agents even more robust. This feature will be active for Orders which are paid but not yet shipped - and will seamlessly Cancel the Order as well as issue a full Refund.

This feature is now available for users on our Premium tier and above.

EPCC - Tax Calculation

While previously we had supported automated tax calculations via common Tax Providers such as TaxJar, Avalara, Vertex (and others) - we have now adding in native support for Elastic Path customers using fixed Tax Rates configured via Elastic Path Flows during the Order creation process offering additional flexibility around tax management for retailers.

EPCC - Order Status Management

We have also brought the ability to easily managing the status of Orders directly inside of Zendesk.

This update adds our enhanced Modify Order Status functionality, enabling Orders to be marked as fulfilled or cancelled for customers using Elastic Path Composable Commerce.

Shipping Data Updates

We have also introduced a much anticipated enhancement to our Real-Time Shipping functionality. The Shipping tab has been upgraded to display Line Items corresponding with each Shipment. This is particularly useful for multi-shipment scenarios that may contain specific line items with each Shipment.

With initial availability on Elastic Path, we already have plans to expand to other providers including Shopify in an upcoming release.

Bug Fix - Shipping Options

We have addressed a minor issue where the sorting of Shipping Options was inverted in a recent release. Now, the lowest-priced shipping option will appear at the top once again, ensuring a better user experience.

Bug Fix - Price Overrides

We also fixed another minor defect affecting the application of multiple cart line-item price overrides, where previously the initial discount could be overridden unintentionally.

Custom Shipping Options

We have also added an enhancement to our purchase/checkout flow functionality related to fetching real-time Shipping options. This updated includes the ability to set custom Shipping options when creating orders on behalf of a customer.

These options can be added in addition to the existing real-time Shipping options that are currently displayed to your Agents by contacting the agnoStack team.

Elastic Path - CartCollab^SM Support

Looking ahead, we're thrilled to be close to enhancing our agent assisted sales flow/Checkout process for retailers using Elastic Path Commerce Cloud (EPCC) with the introduction of our industry leading CartCollab^SM capabilities! This feature is now available via an Early Access Program (EAP) that can be enabled on your account (along with minor updates on your EPCC storefront) by contacting agnoStack support.

This feature will allow agents to prepare a shopping cart "on behalf of" the customer - including all items, customizations and necessary details like shipping and billing. Once the cart is ready, agents can share a unique link with the customer taking them directly to the retailer's storefront with their cart pre-filled with all data prepared by the agent. The customer can then securely enter their credit card details directly on the retailer's storefront and complete their single-click checkout.
